Our sales team is currently looking for a Sales Engineer to fill a permanent position. The person will work remotely and travel throughout the Latin America territory between 50% to 75% of the time.
OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION :
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Engineer to join our team and spearhead growth in the LATAM region. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in achieving our high growth targets by selling our innovative application solutions, such as the Robotiq palletizer (major focus), screwdriver and machine tending. You will take complete ownership of the sales funnel by proactively identifying and qualifying leads, understanding customer needs, and managing the entire sales process from start to finish. You will work closely with our customers and integrators to provide expert guidance on deploying turnkey solutions. In addition, you will coordinate and manage efforts with Robotiq's partner sales channels in your territory.
Main Responsibilities:
Spearhead high growth targets in the LATAM region by selling our innovative application solutions, with a major emphasis on palletizers.
Provide technical qualification and ensure that our products are a good fit for customers' palletizing applications, while working with partners and integrators to provide turnkey solutions.
Share technical sales expertise to help the partner develop pre-sales capabilities so that they can sell our products effectively and efficiently.
Also by providing guidance for demos and developing the capacity of partners to successfully demonstrate all relevant offers.
Employ proper business need qualification to ensure that customers have the pain and budget to move forward on projects.
Act as the initial lead for technical support, acting as a liaison between our support team at HQ and customers.
Coach our customers for a successful installation and collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure customer issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Take a lead role in the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and successful turnkey installs.
Proactively move deals through the sales funnel and provide bi-weekly funnel reviews to management on high-value opportunities in LATAM.
Develop and execute sales plans for the LATAM territory, working closely with cobot manufacturers like Universal Robots to influence sales in the region.
Coach and develop expert partners to be highly independent and autonomous in offering turnkey solutions for palletizing and other application solutions.
Provide a reliable forecast for your territory and support distributor events.
Build strong relationships and awareness for Robotiq with our expert partners.
Represent the customer experience.
Test and provide information and recommendations for the development of new features and application solutions.
Candidate profile:
A completed bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field;
A minimum of 3 years experience in technical sales (B2B and B2C);
Required technical competencies : Automation and Robotics technology - e.g. UR Caps, Polyscope, etc. ;
Fluency in english (spoken and written) and other languages of the territory;
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, CRM Software and ERP Software;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Autonomous, good sense of work organization and priorities;
Highly effective teamwork and cooperation skills;
Valid passport and driving licenses, plus, available to travel more than 50% of the time.
