Our sales team is currently looking for a Sales Engineer located in the LATAM territory to fill a permanent position.The Sales Engineer will work remotely from a country in the territory of Latin America
The function requires frequent travel throughout the territory, between 50% to 75% of the time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Engineer to join our team and spearhead growth in the LATAM region. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in achieving our high growth targets by selling our innovative application solutions, such as the Robotiq palletizer. Your primary focus will be on identifying and qualifying technical needs for palletizing applications, while also overseeing day-to-day operations in the LATAM region.
As the Sales Engineer, you will take complete ownership of the sales funnel by proactively identifying and qualifying leads, understanding customer needs, and managing the entire sales process from start to finish. You will work closely with our customers and integrators to provide expert guidance on deploying turnkey solutions. In addition, you will coordinate and manage efforts with Robotiq's partner sales channels in the LATAM region.

Main Responsibilities:
MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD BE :
Spearhead high growth targets in the LATAM region by selling our innovative application solutions, with a major emphasis on palletizers.
Act as the initial lead for technical support in Latin America, acting as a liaison between our support team at HQ and customers in LATAM
Provide technical qualification and ensure that our products are a good fit for customers' palletizing applications, while working with partners and integrators to provide turnkey solutions
Employ proper business need qualification to ensure that customers have the pain and budget to move forward on projects
Take a lead role in the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and successful turnkey installs.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure customer issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner
Proactively move deals through the sales funnel and provide bi-weekly funnel reviews to management on high-value opportunities in LATAM
Develop and execute sales plans for the LATAM territory, working closely with cobot manufacturers like Universal Robots to influence sales in the region
Coach and develop expert partners to be highly independent and autonomous in offering turnkey solutions for palletizing and other application solutions
Provide a reliable forecast for your territory and support distributor events
Build strong relationships and awareness for Robotiq with our expert partners
Travel up to 75% is required, and employee should maintain a current passport.
SALES TRAINING AND COACHING
Guide our partners and integrators on the need for developing turn-key solutions for our application solutions
Coach our customers through successful installs of our palletizer
Ensure the autonomy of partners:
○ Provide technical sales expertise to help the partner develop pre-sales capabilities so that they can sell our products effectively and efficiently;
○ Provide guidance for demos and develop the capacity of partners to Successfully demonstrate all relevant offers.
Prioritize recurring revenue opportunities:
○ Understand customer requirements to help technical staff define an optimal solution;
○ Become a promoter of products and technologies within the community of partners and customers to drive the offer's value proposition.
Represent the customer experience:
○ Test and provide information and recommendations for the development of new features and application solutions.
Candidate profile:
A completed bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field;
A minimum of 3 years experience in sales;
Fluency in english and other languages of the territory;
Required technical competencies : familiar with Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, CRM Software, ERP Software,Automation and Robotics technology - e.g. UR Caps, Polyscope, etc.;
Experience in technical sales through a distribution channel. Direct Sales experience is preferred.
