Our APAC Sales team is currently looking for a Sales Specialist located in the APAC territory to fill a permanent position.The Sales Engineer will work remotely from a country in this territory.
The function requires occasional travel within Mainland China (20% of the time).
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Specialist is a key role providing support for Robotiq’s frontline sales team covering our portfolio of plug and play (70%) AND Application Solutions (30%).
The successful candidate will be the interface between Robotiq and our customers in APAC.
In this role, he/she will need to collaborate with Robotiq’s Sales teams and interface with Customers (Distributors, System Integrators, End users) in the best possible way, ensuring a smooth end-to-end sales process including lead qualification, lead nurturing, closing, processing orders, and providing after sales support.
Main Responsibilities:
MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD BE :
Support APAC Sales Director and Plug & Play Sales Manager to sustain and grow both Components and Solutions business.
Support existing Channel Partners to ensure all their questions are answered in a timely manner, provide trainings as necessary, help them to build deals pipeline and close deals;
Communicate with customers, making outbound calls to qualify potential customers, and following up on Marketing leads;
Understand customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities and stakeholders;
Maintain accurate deals, customer and partner records in CRM, and prepare a
monthly/quarterly forecast based off these records;
Provide support to Plug & Play Sales Manager to manage pipeline in closing sales and achieve set budget;
Use all the expertise available at Robotiq for complex applications to support the customer throughout the sales process up to the point of order;
Keep up to date with new products and services information updates;
Participate in sales campaigns when Robotiq launches a new products;
Other tasks as required.
Candidate profile:
A degree, diploma or certificate in sales or a related field;
A minimum of 3 years experience in "EOAT" (End of arm tooling) Robotics and/or Automation (major asset);
Experience in B2B sales;
Excellent fuency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken;
Korean and/or Japanese fluency (asset);
Required technical competencies : familiar with Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, CRM (Hubspot);
Experience in High Tech, Automation and/or Robotics technology.
