Samuel is CEO and co-founder of Robotiq. His mission is to free human hands from repetitive tasks. He is also the author of Lean Robotics: A Guide to Making Robots Work in Your Factory. He lives in Québec City with his wife and four children.
Jean-Philippe Jobin
CTO & Co-founder
Jean-Philippe co-founded Robotiq in 2008. With his strong experience in engineering and arts he followed his passion for creation and technologies. As a member of the ISO committee on collaborative robot safety, he contributes in defining the next safety standards for collaborative robots.
Nicolas Lauzier
VP of Engineering
Nicolas Lauzier has been working with collaborative robots for more than a decade. During his PhD in robotics, he developed ways to improve safety for rail-suspended robots working alongside humans. Since he joined Robotiq in 2011, he has been involved in various software development projects. He is now in charge of building a world class R&D team and develop products which solve the challenges of our customers.
Annie Giguère
VP of Product Management & Marketing
Annie Giguère has over ten years of experience in the management of product and marketing teams. She specializes in the development of synergies between the two groups, thus fostering advancement that brings value to the customer, and ensuring a smooth transition towards Robotiq's sales teams. Holding a bachelor of marketing, Annie also completed a Master of Science degree to deepen her knowledge of the ""product"" side of marketing.
Karine Simard
Director of Operations
Karine is a journalism-school graduate turned marketer with a side-step in sales and the addition of an MBA to complete her understanding of business. She cares about team dynamics, marketing and generating quality leads for her teammates in sales. She strives to bring sales and marketing teams together into one happy revenue-generating machine.
Pascal Demers
Finance Director
Pascal holds the CPA-CMA designation and has more than 15 years of experience in various financial positions. He began as an analyst and subsequently held controlling positions and acted as project manager in ERP implementation. As finance director, he ensures that Robotiq has the financial resources to grow.
Tommy Rochette
Production Director
Tommy has more than 10 years of experience in production management and supply chain management. In his previous job in the manufacturing industry, he implemented lean manufacturing & product reliability from the Toyota Way. Since he overlooks quality in the production department, he makes sure that all purchases are done correctly to provide customers a quality that meets expectations. Tommy’s team focuses on product quality and production throughput.
Adam Schmidt
Director of Sales Americas
Adam Schmidt joined Robotiq in 2018 and oversees sales and support in the Americas. With over 15 years of industrial sales and automation experience, he's focused on building a high-tech sales organization and developing a strategic vision for both North and South America.
Leif Möller
EMEA Sales Director
Leif Möller has a bachelor in industrial engineering with several years of experience in the automation industry. As our Channel Sales Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Leif Möller is definitely one of Robotiq’s social butterflies. He enjoys meeting new people in addition to nourishing his relationships with existing colleagues, partners, friends, and family.
Laurence Belhumeur
Laurence has an interesting background in International Business Development as well as having contributed to the internationalization of some of Quebec’s small and medium companies. Laurence’s main responsibilities are to source new sales opportunities as well as qualifying leads in the Americas and Asia by understanding customers’ needs and requirements.
Jacky Hui
Holding a MBA focused in Global Business from Laval University, Jacky has participated in the internationalization of several Chinese, African and Canadian firms. Originally from Hong Kong and having lived in various countries, he has developed skills in multilingualism and has become familiar with the business world. Currently, at Robotiq, he is responsible for finding new sales opportunities in Asia-Pacific.
Josh Davis
Meet Josh Davis, who has joined our team in Channel Management for the Western US territory. Josh has an impressive background in the Collaborative Robot industry and enjoys utilizing his experiences to help consult with customers and distributors alike. François Thibodeau
Frank has 12 years of experience as an Inside Sales Specialist in technologies. He's driven by helping others in any way he can and will go the extra mile to ensure the right solution is at hand. At home he is a very diverse individual; he likes everything in between extreme sports and music, and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Adina Teusan
Adina first started her career in education, having trained as a teacher in her native Romania, and later on discovered her interest in sales. She came to this via an MA in European Business from Oxford Brookes University to which she later on added a Certificate in Marketing from Laval University. Adina likes talking to customers from different cultures and regions and finds it most rewarding being able to help them discover a solution for their needs.
Benoit Castets
After spending eight years working as a sales engineer in the automotive industry in Japan, Benoit joined Robotiq in 2018 to help Asian customers overcome technical difficulties and moving ahead in their projects. His highest satisfaction is to see the success of his customers. With an electromechanical background, Benoit enjoys playing with technology and designing innovative solutions.
Marc-Antoine Gauthier
Marc-Antoine is a mechanical engineer with a background in automation, vision inspection, and traceability in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. He is always looking for new challenges, professionally and personally. He is not afraid of adapting himself and trying new things. That is why he likes to travel and experience new cultures. Besides ice hockey, skydiving, motocross and ultimate Frisbee, Marc-Antoine loves to spend time with his family and friends.
Victor Ferland
Victor Ferland works as HR and Hiring Advisor at Robotiq. He received his education from Laval University, from which he holds a Bachelor of Administration. He begins his career in an industrial company in Quebec City before taking part in the opening of a store with worldwide reach; he then decides to reorient towards new challenges. For Victor, Robotiq is an unparalleled source of motivation and learning. Surrounded by a dynamic team and inspiring colleagues, he strives to find solutions satisfactory to all, and to interact with all stakeholders at Robotiq. What he likes most in life? Teamwork! Whether he is playing hockey or working at Robotiq, his goal is to move the team forward.
