Samuel Bouchard co-founded the company in 2008, he holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a bachelor in Engineering Physics from Laval University. He is a regular speaker at international events on robotics technology and business.
CTO & Co-founder
Jean-Philippe co-founded Robotiq in 2008. With his strong experience in engineering and arts he followed his passion for creation and technologies. As a member of the ISO committee on collaborative robot safety, he contributes in defining the next safety standards for collaborative robots.
Karine is a journalism-school graduate turned marketer with a side-step in sales and the addition of an MBA to complete her understanding of business. She cares about team dynamics, marketing and generating quality leads for her teammates in sales. She strives to bring sales and marketing teams together into one happy revenue-generating machine.
Director, Human Resources & Administration
Olivier overlooks the administrative and HR activities. He also focuses on building a strong team aligned with Robotiq’s culture; you will most likely see him if you come in for a job. Adding 13 years of experience in human resources to his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations from Laval University, Olivier is known for his pragmatic and businesslike approach while constantly keeping Robotiq’s growth in the back of his mind.
Pascal holds the CPA-CMA designation and has more than 15 years of experience in various financial positions. He began as an analyst and subsequently held controlling positions and acted as project manager in ERP implementation. As finance director, he ensures that Robotiq has the financial resources to grow.
Nicolas Lauzier has been working with collaborative robots for more than a decade. During his PhD in robotics, he developed ways to improve safety for rail-suspended robots working alongside humans. Since he joined Robotiq in 2011, he has been involved in various software development projects. He is now in charge of building a world class R&D team and develop products which solve the challenges of our customers.
Tommy has more than 10 years of experience in production management and supply chain management. In his previous job in the manufacturing industry, he implemented lean manufacturing & product reliability from the Toyota Way. Since he overlooks quality in the production department, he makes sure that all purchases are done correctly to provide customers a quality that meets expectations. Tommy’s team focuses on product quality and production throughput.
Nicolas Hardy is a mechanical engineer with an MBA who has been working since 2000 in the manufacturing industry. He has an experience in R&D, technical support and sales management. The family culture is something he really enjoys at Robotiq. He is always looking to find a solution to help customers, just like reaching the right holds when doing rock climbing!
Michel was an aerospace mechanical technician with over 15 years of experiences in 3D Scanning, Design Engineering and solution sales before joining Robotiq’s Team. Between two ski trips, he focuses on bringing the right solution to Robotiq’s customers and allowing them to increase their productivity through simple Plug & Play automation.
Meet Steven Chu, who has joined our team in Sales and Business development for Asia Pacific. Steven has an impressive background and experience in international business management and sales development with the Asian Market.
Kim has over twenty five years experience in industrial automation and distribution management. He has worked with many leading automation companies in the manufacturing industry and has a passion for focused distribution partners. Kim is responsible for managing the Robotiq channel partners in the Southeast USA.
Louis has a technical background in electrical engineering and holds a Bachelor in Automated Production Engineering. After 16 years as the founder, CEO and R&D director of a robotics integration company, he decided to make the switch and join our team of integration coaches.
David’s strong background in welding robots comes from running his own robotic welding subcontracting company for 4 years. He has managed many robotic integration projects before joining our integration coaches team.
Nicholas is a mechanical engineer with a background in vision inspection and traceability in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. His passion for mountaineering constantly inspires him to reach new heights both on the mountain and in his professional life. He looks forward to solving any integration challenges Robotiq’s customers might encounter.
Trained as a mechanical engineer, Nicolas has completed a master's degree in robotics before working in the area of integration of automation solutions. Over the years he has acquired a wide experience in the development and support of technological products. Following a period in the pharmaceutical field, he joined Robotiq to return to his primary passion.With a big interest in the sea, he is always looking for a new corner of the world to get himself involved.
Meet Alain, part of our technical training team. Trained as and electrotechnician, and later as a field technician, he possesses good technical knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Alain as a background of more than 15 years as a technical trainer and an electrotechnician teacher. Travel is his passion, so he is always looking forward to go and meet Robotiq’s partners.
Laurence has an interesting background in International Business Development as well as having contributed to the internationalization of some of Quebec’s small and medium companies. Laurence’s main responsibilities are to source new sales opportunities as well as qualifying leads in the Americas and Asia by understanding customers’ needs and requirements.
Marie-Joël is part of Robotiq’s internal sales team. After her graduation in physics, she acquired strong experience in international business to help high tech companies build a stronger relationship with customers. This triathlon and cooking lover is committed to answer your questions and to qualify the best leads in Europe for Robotiq partners.
Holding a MBA focused in Global Business from Laval University, Jacky has participated in the internationalization of several Chinese, African and Canadian firms. Originally from Hong Kong and having lived in various countries, he has developed skills in multilingualism and has become familiar with the business world. Currently, at Robotiq, he is responsible for finding new sales opportunities in Asia-Pacific.
Frank has 12 years of experience as an Inside Sales Specialist in technologies. He's driven by helping others in any way he can and will go the extra mile to ensure the right solution is at hand. At home he is a very diverse individual; he likes everything in between extreme sports and music, and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
A speaker of four languages with a master's degree in international management, Élisabeth is fueled by new discoveries, constantly raising the bar and getting involved. Traveling is an opportunity for her to immerse herself in a new culture, to learn a new language or to embark on a new challenge such as hiking Machu Picchu or skiing the Aiguille du Midi. She is always looking for new enriching experiences to brighten up her range of stories to share.
After completing a Bachelor's degree in Consumer Science, Eugenie gained several years of experience in customer service and account management, particularly within the sports industry. She is very creative and always has her head filled with an abundance of new projects and she does everything possible to achieve them. At Robotiq, she is available to help Central European customers carry out their automation projects.
Adina first started her career in education, having trained as a teacher in her native Romania, and later on discovered her interest in sales. She came to this via an MA in European Business from Oxford Brookes University to which she later on added a Certificate in Marketing from Laval University. Adina likes talking to customers from different cultures and regions and finds it most rewarding being able to help them discover a solution for their needs.
Always looking for challenges and her next adventure, Jessie has developed great adaptability while living in Australia and Western Canada for several years. She later went on to work in software sales and business development for 5 years at a Montréal-based company. Back to her hometown of Québec City, she loves spending time with her family and her two-year-old son. Jessie is thrilled to be working as an Insights sales specialist at Robotiq!
