The Problem

Ornua's manual processes led to safety issues, low productivity, and employee dissatisfaction. Managing a complex operation with labor shortages and a high number of SKUs further strained resources. The company needed a solution that integrated seamlessly with existing processes to optimize performance and free up employees for higher value-added tasks.

The Solution

Ornua chose a collaborative palletizing solution so that its employees could interact with the product if necessary. They opted for a UR20 with Robotiq's Palletizing Solution to palletize various dairy products as well as boxed products. This collaborative solution allowed Ornua to automate their palletizing process without the need for safety cages, enhancing workplace safety and operational efficiency.
