Under the supervision of the Americas Sales Team, with a dotted line to Support and Services, the application solutions engineer is designed to provide pre and post sales support for customers with large, repeat business potential. Primary focus would be on our application solutions product portfolio, specifically palletizing, screwdriving and machine tending.
The nature of this role requires availability to travel up to 75% of time in USA and CAD.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure successful cobot cell deployment for our palletizing product :
Provide onsite installation support to high value customers, so we can replicate across multiple facilities.
Remote responsibilities: provide proof of concepts, customized gripper design, simulations, etc.
Pre and post sales support to ensure our solutions are meeting customer expectations.
Provide guidance to our expert partners and help them develop the autonomy necessary to support and grow our application solutions business in the Americas.
Support sales team :
Help Robotiq to reach its revenue targets by working with the commercial team on reaching their application solutions sales targets.
Develop strong relationships with decision makers within key accounts, our commercial team and our distribution network.
Represent customer experience and prioritize recurring business opportunities :
Understand the customer’s needs in order to help the technical staff to define an optimal solution.
Become a promoter of the products, technologies and application solutions within the partners community to drive the offer proposal.
Test and provide feedback for developing new features on products and application solutions.
Candidate profile:
Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic or mechanical engineering, or relatable engineering degree
More than 3 years of experience
Technical skills : Pragmatism, robotics expertise
Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships
Service oriented
Capacity to manage his priorities and be autonomous
Valid driving license
Asset : technical drawing
