Static Sensing: Measures the pressure applied to the sensor pad. to detect contact location, shape, and force distribution. This enables the robot to evaluate grasp quality and recognize objects based on their stiffness and shape.
Dynamic Sensing: Captures high-frequency events and vibrations on the sensor pad. It is specifically useful for real-time monitoring of micro-slips, allowing the robot to adjust its grip dynamically to prevent dropping object.Proprioceptive Sensing: Utilizes an internal IMU to determine the sensor's orientation in space (x, y, z axes). This provides direct feedback on the gripper's configuration and helps relate contact points to a global reference frame.
