Problem

Précinov faces high demand for their products. To face this growth, it would be easy to just buy more machines, but a skilled workforce is hard to find for day, evening and night shifts. New machines were not running full-time, which was limiting new business opportunities.

Solution

Précinov installed a robot cell in front of their 5-axis CNC machine. The robot takes the part on a conveyor and puts it in the machine. It can turn the part over if needed, and will take it out when machining is over. It basically does an operator’s job, while Précinov hires machinists that are qualified to work on complete production setups.
