Everyday, Continental Automotive Spain looks to improve their factory’s productivity to be competitive in the automotive world. In their switch to Industry 4.0 philosophy, they are looking for automation solutions that will prevent employees from doing no added-value tasks in the quality testing process.

Solution

Collaborative robots were integrated to be the central part of the quality testing line. They move parts from one station to the next while employees focus on added-value tasks. Since all the programming is in the robot, the workers can reprogram everything in-house without any third party.
